Ever since Lgmi was founded in as church Missionary partners with Teen challenge and others Christians Organisations , we’ve focused on improving the lives of homeless young people, drug addict, alcohol addicts. Thanks to our amazing supporters, we’re now able to reach 5,000 homeless young people each year.
The homeless young people that come to Lgmi stay with us for up to two years. An amazing 65 per cent then move into their own homes, connect back with their families, get their first jobs or go to university.
We provide 700 bed spaces for homeless young people and elderly peoples
We now operate 20 services providing support to young people across the UK.
We focus on areas of policy including housing, family and health.
Our health support makes young people 21 per cent more likely to get into their preferred education or training.
More than one in five young people leave Lgmi with more qualifications than when they arrived.
The first of its kind, our Helpline offers advice to anyone in England aged 16-30 who needs help with homelessness.
87 per cent of our Sport programme participants report an increase in confidence and self-esteem after taking part.
